great buy for the money works flawlessly, flimsy switching button wire.

I bought this KVM to switch between multiple computers at my workspace.
the cost is low for a USB enabled KVM and it is simple to hook up. the cable going to the switching button is quite flimsy and I have had to take great care to rout it so that there is no abrasion to the cord.
where I work we set up BlackBox KVM systems and compared to them this is rather archaic however it is less than a fifth of the cost. the only thing I miss from the BlackBox system is being able to switch computers from the keyboard. that being said pushing the button is not much harder I just wish the cable were more robust. lastly the VGA connector being on the front seemed appealing at first but it makes cable management quite a chore, and makes the box look unsightly when you have it in a workspace. I think having it on the back would have made much more sense so the only things coming forward would be the mouse and keyboard. to sum up it is a great product for the price. the only reason I give it four stars is the flimsy cord to the switching button and the bad cable management.Read full review...
