This little bass is for-real a bass.

This is quite a nice bass, especially for the price. It's fun to play, is tuned like a standard bass, and sounds really quite good. I just like to noodle around at home and write and record my own riffs. This makes it really easy t keep at the ready and lay down a bass part. My main bass is a great old Carvin LB60, which is all maple and weighs almost twice what this weighs. The Carvin sounds a smidge more to my liking, BUT this also sounds good. TBH I would not like this if I couldn't lay down parts I'd be willing to KEEP. If parts were only placeholders I wouldn't like this as much. A great guitar, especially for the smaller dude

The item came beautifully packaged, and even a week early haha. But as a guitar I’ve enjoyed the solid tone ive been getting out of it the past weeks, even out of my tiny practice amp. Better Than Expected, Built Well, Plays Great, Nice Tone, Cant Beat The Price

I am a full grown guitar/bass player over 25 years. I bought this in hopes of an affordable little Bass to have for studio use and was pleasantly surprised. While this would be a great starter guitar for smaller hands, I have a blast playing it. This is not a toy by any means, it is very well constructed, frets are nice and level, neck is smooth and very easy to play, tuners stay in tune and the volume and tone pots are just fine. With a new set of GHS short scale flat wound strings and a quick truss rod and saddle adjustment this is my go to Bass. When properly intonated, this lightweight bass has all the tone and punch you ever need. I'm a professional bassist and would seriously consider using this bass for funk applications or when flying.
