Real-life with great research
The "hook" of the book for me was that it was written by a non-music major. I am a music teacher and a school/church choral director, so honestly I have read from that perspective. The author, who is a writer and a non-professional singer, mixed her research of choral singing in the US with real-life experiences as a choir member. The combined perspective was brilliant and most inspiring. Sing on, Stacy Horn. And do continue to write about it.Read full review...
