This turntable looks nice and sounds good. It's similar to the Heyday and Onn turntables. Has auto stop and was easy to set up. One downside is the motor is loud, louder than the aforementioned turntables. However I don't hear any rumble through my speakers.Read full review

Insignia turntable pluses and minuses
The one I purchased was a return so I'm not sure if my review is completely objective. Here goes: I was impressed with the arm for a low priced turntable. Very nice balance and adjustable anti-skate. Although the tension seemed too aggressive causing the arm to skate outward when turned too high. Good feedback resistance. The housing seems acoustically isolated quite well for a budget turntable. The one I got had a poorly balanced platter. I had to sand and file the center hole so it would ride true and level. Once I did that, it worked beautifully like a much higher dollar unit. Hopefully this is a rarity and not typical. But it can be fixed with a little effort and sandpaper. Amazed with sound quality. And the cartridge can be changed/upgraded.
