Gives life to an older system

Bought this to make my LGA-1155 system capable of playing Battlefield 1 at 60 fps. This CPU is fast. I have it overclocked to 4.4 GHz on air with only a very minor voltage boost. This gives it similar performance to an i5-6600K at stock clock. Not bad for a 5-year-old processor. Never exceeds 65 *C, even during stress testing. Great value, 10/10, would buy again.Read full review...

Nice upgrade

Got this to upgrade my old 2500k based gaming rig. It removed the bottle neck from my GTX1070. These chips overclock about 1Ghz higher than stock speed on average. It really put some more pep in it. Forza 7 now runs 70 FPS in 4k on ultra settings.Read full review...

CPU

Tests out perfect, matches the "Passmark" specs. This is still a fast cpu. Although it does
Not come close to my i7 6700k. The price is right for the purpose.

Champion - Mr. Perfect

Noticed an immediate speed difference in performance with Windows 10 including: basic tasks, video streaming/editing and gaming after switching from the i7-2600 to the 2600k. Overclocked this to 5 Ghz with a Noctua nh-d15, this thing is a Champion. Read full review...

Turn your Sandy Bridge i3 into a fast i7!

The fastest upgrade I could make on my motherboard. No pins on the CPU made installation very easy. A new coat of thermal paste and the CPU core temperature monitor showed very cool and even temps. A terrific upgrade! Also sold the i3 I replaced so upgrade cost was very reasonable.Read full review...

Breathes life into an aging system

Paired the i7 2600k with an rx 470 and 16gb of DDR3 2133 ram. Total cost under $400. My system is revived! The 2600k overclocks like a champ to 4.5ghz.

Exactly what the doctor ordered

I bought this to give an old Optiplex 390 back some life. With a BIOS update, I was able to install this new CPU with no issue and start it right up. Was even able to install an OS in record time. Seing the performance improvement and comparing it to more current but simmilar CPUs in todays standards, I'd say this is well worth the $65 investment.Read full review...

Fantastic CPU

I am using this processor in a 24 track recording presonus firestudio system. NO LATENCY. Incredibly fast matched it to a gigbyte board with 16 gb ram and is fantastic.. Stock cooler works great and no signs of overheating. I recommend this to anyone that is doing recording or any other cpu intensive processing.Read full review...
