The Hard Way by Lee Child (2006)

This was my first read of a Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child. It certainly kept my interest from start to finish. Child's Reacher well uses his knowledge, experience, reason, logic, and a passion for what is right
to bring justice to his clients. I enjoyed the balance that character Ex-Special FBI Agent Lauren Pauling brought to the case and to the novel overall. I appreciated Child's use of settings in America and the U.K. He offers the reader important details told spare prose, similar to James Patterson's works.

The best and most interesting book I have ever read!

oved the main character (Jack Reacher), fell for him on a personal basis (which is disturbing!) and have decided to not only read every single book in the "Jack Reacher" series, but to collect every single hardback period and I will just read my own, along with my husband. The most best special ops book I have ever read. It was realistic....10 x better than watching the "Jason Bourne" movie series. I couldn't put it down! But I have to admit, these are not normally "woman" books. More "man" books.Read full review...

THE HARD WAY

AS A FAN OF ACTION ADVENTURE BOOKS WITH A TWIST OR TWO, THE HARD WAY, BY LEE CHILD IS THE LATEST EDITION OF MY "JACK REACHER" FIX. THIS CHARACTER HAS A QUALITY ABOUT HIM THAT KEEPS THE TRUE FAN BEGGING FOR MORE. THE ONLY BAD PART ABOUT THESE NOVELS IS THAT NOW I HAVE TO BUY THEM IN HARD BOUND BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY I COULD WAIT IN LINE AT THE LIBRARY OR A YEAR UNTIL IT CAME OUT IN PAPERBACK! THE GOOD NEWS IS THAT CHILDS' PREVIOUS BOOK, "ONE SHOT" HAS BEEN PICKED UP FOR A MOVIE! I'M VOTING FOR VIGGO MORGENSTERN FOR THE QUIET BUT DANGEROUS LEAD!Read full review...

The Hard Way

Typical Lee Child novel. Fast paced with many interesting but easy to follow turns in the road. Reacher is a great character and does not let you down in this one. Started to read it on the day before Thanksgiving and finished while the turkey was in the oven.Read full review...

Jack Reacher At His Most Exciting!

Jack is back, and his bad karma is following him... A man gets in a car and drives away. Jack sees it. And so Jack gets sucked into a drama that spans from the jungles of revolution-torn Africa to the jungles of Manhattan. Don't try this at home, folks!

This Jack Reacher novel grabbed me like a rip tide, and 20 hours later, I had finished reading it!! Don't start this one unless you have NOTHING else to do!

Reacher's back!

What can I say? This is classic Lee Child, just as good as all of his stuff is. If you're a Reacher fan (and who among us isn't?), you'll love this yarn. In case you aren't aware of it, there are three Reacher volumes available on Kindle, too! While you're there, check out the three Reacher volumes by Diane Capri. They're ujust as good as Child's stuff. Enjoy.Read full review...
