This was my first read of a Jack Reacher novel by Lee Child. It certainly kept my interest from start to finish. Child's Reacher well uses his knowledge, experience, reason, logic, and a passion for what is right
to bring justice to his clients. I enjoyed the balance that character Ex-Special FBI Agent Lauren Pauling brought to the case and to the novel overall. The best and most interesting book I have ever read!

oved the main character (Jack Reacher), fell for him on a personal basis (which is disturbing!) and have decided to not only read every single book in the "Jack Reacher" series, but to collect every single hardback period and I will just read my own, along with my husband. The most best special ops book I have ever read. It was realistic....10 x better than watching the "Jason Bourne" movie series. I couldn't put it down! But I have to admit, these are not normally "woman" books. More "man" books.Read full review...

AS A FAN OF ACTION ADVENTURE BOOKS WITH A TWIST OR TWO, THE HARD WAY, BY LEE CHILD IS THE LATEST EDITION OF MY "JACK REACHER" FIX. THIS CHARACTER HAS A QUALITY ABOUT HIM THAT KEEPS THE TRUE FAN BEGGING FOR MORE. THE ONLY BAD PART ABOUT THESE NOVELS IS THAT NOW I HAVE TO BUY THEM IN HARD BOUND BECAUSE THERE IS NO WAY I COULD WAIT IN LINE AT THE LIBRARY OR A YEAR UNTIL IT CAME OUT IN PAPERBACK! If your a Jack Reacher fan than this is another must have!!! I have read all the Lee Child Novels and it just keeps getting better can't wait for the next one. What can I say? This is classic Lee Child, just as good as all of his stuff is. If you're a Reacher fan (and who among us isn't?), you'll love this yarn.
