This is the most effective learning tool I have found, and I have spent thousands of dollars on trading learning tools. Don't get me wrong. There is no Holy Grail. You will have to study hard, read the WHOLE book and make many, many practice trades. But the material makes sense and the markets do behave the way Nison describes. There is a simplicity here that makes trading more enjoyable, as well as more profitable.
Anyone can describe a candle pattern, but Nison gives you an understanding of the condition of the market that underlies each formation. You will learn when a particular candle should be followed and when it should be ignored.Read full review...

Truly a "lets get started" title

I did write a review for the first edition of this same book. This newer printing is just as valuable, even if you own the first print. It goes without saying the author supplies additional information throughout the book, not merely in the foreword. This author is never a disappointment. Nison's books are like bibles to the trader. His many references to charts are intriguing and nicely interpreted. He brings clarity to every novice or experienced trader. A must have companion in your arsenal of technical analysis library.
