Installed easily but quit working after two weeks.

I just got my 2nd one. It is working but both had/have a similar issue. I use or two different lamps plugged into the two ports. For some reason on both, the 2nd port does not completely turn off the 2nd lamp. It seems there is a small trickle charge still flowing after the shut off with the remote. The lamp can be turned off manually and will stay off when turned back on at the lamp. It does work to turn lamps on and off with the remote which is what my disabled wife needs. I do wonder about the trickle charge but don't think it's a real issue. I am using an LED bulb so power consumption is low and the trickle is almost no brightness. 2nd one stopped functioning; replacing with Alexa control.Read full review...

Really like The Clapper Plus

I don't use the clapping feature much, but the remote is great for being able to turn off a bedside lamp when ready to go to sleep, without having to sit up halfway and turn the knob.

Clapper with remote

It did not work. Since there is no money back on this item I went ahead and took it apart. It was all full of white corrosion all over the motherboard. Must have been stored in a humid area.
