Nektar SACD Journey to the Center of the Eye

Nektar's recordings go back to the early 1970's so even though this is a surround sound high resolution SACD, it's limited to some of the technology from those days. Still sounds good though. Nektar is taste specific. They did not have a huge following so unless you really like them you may not want to put out big bucks for these rare SACD's just to have in your collection. Also, this is touted as a 5.1 surround sound but it's really only quadrophonic as there were original quad tapes from the 70's. I don't think it's their best effort but I do like it.Read full review...
