On a remote island, a wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening the attraction to the public, he invites a top paleontologist, a paleobotanist, a mathematician/theorist, and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park, and help calm anxious investors. However, their park visit is anything but tranquil as the park's security system breaks down, the prehistoric creatures break out, and the excitement builds to surprising results. The special effects are still good today, but they were revolutionary for back in 1993. The acting is good, and the ensemble cast is great. All of the action sequences are perfectly executed, creating plenty of suspense and tension. Steven Speilberg will take you to places in this movie that no one else ever will. Jurassic Park

This is one of Steven Spielberg's best movies ever. Definitely one of my favorites.

Millionaire John Hammond has designated an island for an amusement park featuring DNA-cloned real dinosaurs. He asks two paleontologists (dinosaur experts) to come visit the park, and to act as consultants for the park. He also invites a mathematician and his two grandchildren to visit it as well. They begin by starting the tour of the park, and of course everything starts going wrong. 3 things happen: an impending hurricane, an engineer who is stealing information for money (and shuts down the entire electrical system), and the dinosaurs start terrorizing the park.

The special effects are amazing, and the dinosaurs are very lifelike and real looking. I was amazed at how real they got the T-Rex to look.

JURASSIC PARK DVD

I have seen it before and really enjoyed this movie. My 6 yr old son, Jakob, is VERY in to DINOSAURS AND CAN NAME PRETTY MUCH ALL OF THEM, HOW TALL EACH IS, WHAT PERIOD THEY LIVED IN, AND OTHER FACTS. He loves Carnivors;) I have been waiting to buy this movie and I am soo excited about him seeing it!! He watched a litte bit a couple of yrs ago when it was on tv but got scared. I know that he will LOVE this now especially since his favorite dinosaur is the Tyrannosaurus Rex. I am a single mom but I am a level 1 trauma ER RN so I try very hard to act interested in his DINOSAURS. I cannot wait until it arrives and to watch it with him and see his reaction....I WILL HAVE A VERY HAPPY JAKOB!!
