I don't like any current shows on TV. But, I LOVE JUSTIFIED!

I first tried this show when I saw the SEASON 1 DVD in a store for about $7. I read the story on back of the box and thought what the heck, give it a try. I was hooked. Realistic characters that are quirky and very interesting. A small town in Kentucky where the good guys and bad guys grew up together. RAYLAN GIVENS and BOYD CROWDER are the Hatfields and McCoys. The former a US MARSHAL, the latter a Redneck Don Corleone. This season features a snake-handling preacher who's ruining CROWDER's drug and prostitution trade. But that's just the appetizer. The main storyline borrows from the real life D.B. Cooper stunt. A body, a parachute, an empty money bag, MOB interest, shocking revelations of friends and family. Who's coming to town looking for the missing loot? RAYLAN's going to uncover some secrets that have serious consequences for his friends and family. Usually, someone will tell me about a new show that's "different and great" and I just yawn. Whoop-dee do! JUSTIFIED IS AN AWESOME SHOW! This from a person who HATES MOST MODERN TV SHOWS. Start with the FIRST SEASON. They don't cost much. Then WATCH OUT FOR SEASON 2!! IT'S SPECIAL! I LOVE ALL 4, BUT 2 IS SPECIAL. Watch them in order so you won't get lost. By ALL MEANS...see MARGO MARTINDALE in her EMMY WINNING ROLE AS MAGS BENNETT, GodMother of the Redneck Mafia, in Season 2. She's unforgettable. So are all the main characters throughout all 4 Seasons. JEREMY DAVIES also took the EMMY FOR SUPPORTING ACTOR in Season 3. I loved Deadwood and even though this series is different it has a lot of the same characters. I am on series 4 and it is great . I bought them separate because of the reviews on buying them as a set . I have bought all of the series and they are great. I would never buy them in a set the way they done them . Kentucky Fried

Well, for me the fourth season came with seasons 1, 2, & 3. What a great show. I would recommend it to anyone who appreciates good writing and acting. I especially like the lead "bad" guy, Boyd. Hard to make that level violence palatable but somehow he makes it understandable and you feel for him as much as the other characters. The actors are great and the story line is easy to follow. Wish they would have continued the series.

Excellent value for the money.

I bought Justified season 4 because I had the other 3 seasons. Justified has become one of my all tine favorite shows. I love the way Raylan and Art interact. They are hilarious.

The one character I cannot stand is Winona. She is such a whiny, selfish person. I wish Raylan would move on and find a nice, new woman in his life.

Great if you missed the season and need to catch up.

I bought this set because I missed many season four episodes due to my work schedule. I enjoy the series and could not watch them when they were On Demand. Instead of trying to catch shows here and there, I decided to wait for the DVD so I could watch them in order before season five began.

One thing I dislike about the DVDs is the inability to jump to various scenes within a particular episode.

The special features were rather limited with an outakes reel that lasted a couple of minutes, a few deleted scenes and the ability to watch the show with or without commentary.Read full review...
