sue grafton r is for ricochet, kinsey gumshoe detective stuck in the 1980's

FLAP SAYS:

REBA LAFFERTY WAS a daughter of privileged the only child of an adoring father. nord lafferty was already in his 50's when reba was born and he could deny her nothing. over the years he quietly settled her many scrapes with thelaw, but he wasn't there when she took the fall for a guy she was in love with for embezzleing and sent to ca institute for woman.
kinsey is hired to bring her home. when she is released.

while the reasoning behind the whole beginning is weird and far fetched, it's ok, and the book does hold your attention. althought once again, i'm thinking kinsey really really needs a cell phone and to call the cops once and a while.

i'm hoping the relationship works out with cheney, but with kinsey you never know. also henry needs some love too.

R is for Ricochet

Sue Grafton is a very good writer. My wife and I have a complete set of hard cover books and an amost complete set of CD's. I like to listen to them either on CD or by Audiobook and she reads the books. But last night my wife pointed out that to CDs are not read word for word like the book. The story still gets across though. We both like Sue Graftons work. ThanksRead full review...

R Is for Ricochet by Sue Grafton (2004)

great book to cure insomnia! Sue Grafton spends too much time describing everything from the clothes characters wear to the size shap and color of the dust bunnies! I keep reading and I hope there is a crime or something happens to raise my blood pressure one or two points snore!!!!!!!!!Read full review...

R is for Ricochet by Sue Grafton

This book will appeal to those who like suspense without the gore and humor along the way. Sue Grafton has fast become one of my favor writers. I recommend her to anyone who is an avid reader!

R is for Richochet

I have followed Sue Grafton through the alphabet and heve never been disappointed. She usually manages to end with a twist, but a believable one, and never goes into the outlandish. I particularly enjoy the humorous asides.Read full review...
