We don't seem to tire of the alphabet series. Yes they are a bit formulaic, but it is a series, if they went way off form we'd be complaining it wasn't our Kinsey, and W is certainly our girl at work. My favorite book in Grafton's alphabet series

I've read all the Alphabet Series books by Sue Grafton. There were some that weren't memorable - but W is for Wasted is the most memorable of all of them to me. Great character exposition and satisfying development of Kinsey's character. I thoroughly enjoyed the read and can truthfully say that it was my favorite of the whole series. A must read for fun entertainment!

If you want pure entertainment, a bit of mystery, and some wonderful laughter, Sue Grafton is the one to read. I will be so sad when she ends this series. I have every book and have cherished each one. You will feel as though you know Kinsey Millhone as she takes you on countless journeys.
