Not what I expected...

This book does have nice projects in it. What I would have liked to see other than the beautiful pic's of the finished objects would have been visuals of the techniques it is supposed to be "teaching". I also would have liked to see the projects as they look on people instead of just laying down. I was somewhat disappointed that it was all explanations - too much writing and not enough visuals.Read full review...

I love the book. The only problem I found was the shawl pattern on page 53 has incorrect knitting instructions to obtain a full size shawl. Knowing this the pattern is easily adjusted. Sue

such a grand book . . i made the shawl ( pictured on cover) but used a non-beaded material for the fringe. turned out as good as jane's!

I love that the patterns can be used by anyone including larger sizes or easily converted. Lots of ideas, diagrams, charts and methods to use, which can be adapted to other projects.
