The small pliers were machined sloppily and arestiff while another pliers was machined loose. you can find better deals on better brands, but these are fine for most uses

Solid stuff

I've used the Kobalt "channel locks" several times since they arrived. They are a good deal and they are very strong / sturdy. If I have a complaint, it would be that they are also very wide (thick).
