Classic emulsion ... grainy goodness!
I've used only one box (5 rolls) of 120 Tri-X 400 yet, developed in Arista Liquid developer, and have got good results (even upto 1600, with lots of grain though).
My experience with 120 B&W film before this was only with Fuji Acros 100 which is a very fine grain film, so the Tri-X 400 grain was putting me off initially, but the textures it gave were very pleasing at times, given the right lighting conditions.
All in all, from what I've read online, it's a classic B&W 400 emulsion and a popular photojournalists' choice in the last century, so you can't go wrong!Read full review...

In the age of film their is always the controversy on what it offers versus the digital arena.
It's certainly a beautiful way to tell the story and control the nuance which sets it apart

Had a defective roll
One of the rolls split inside the camera and caused me a lot of hassles on a shoot. Must have been old stock. Will not buy again.
