I like it, though my key fob was dead

I like the product which was a gen 1 version and very easy to install; however, the key fob didn't work. After being on hold for about 55 minutes with Quickset, I was finally able to speak to a human. After a while of speaking with him and going through all of the same troubleshooting steps I'd gone through before subjecting myself to nearly an hour of "on hold" torture music clearly designed to get the less resolute to hang up and the near constant interruptions by the automated voice affirming my importance, we finally determined that my fob was in fact dead. Doesnt work and will frustrate you

Install was slightly a pain and I have installed 100 lock sets. Like every review will tell you, it takes forever to open when using the touch. You could get the keys out faster defeating the purpose of the lock. The fob isnt better and I even took a video of the fob and phone both touching the lock and three times it didnt unlock and had to use the key.

Buying on Ebay is half the price so that is the only value. Took 48 mins on wiat to get customer service for help, but lady was nice and fixed the fob and the rekey that didnt work properly.

The only way it seems to work is if the mykevo is up and running and then it will go nuts. I walked by the door, I now leave open when going outside for a second and it would just lock itself. Still needs work and seems to be only good to use if carrying your keys, jogging, is a pain and the wiat is worth the wait.Read full review...

Easy to use but not very easy to setup

I am using this lock for almost 2 weeks now. Installation instructions were good but I had a few hiccups during installation and calibration. Once done it worked as expected.
By the way I tried calibrating FOB key but that didn't work for me, so I gave up and didn't spend too much time on it as I am not going to use it for now. I may spend more time on it some other time.
The only reason I have it 4 star is due to installation and calibration process.
I will recommend smart locks to my friends but it is for those people who are technology savvy . If you are not tech savvy then you may need help from someone to install it and program it for youRead full review...

Though, I think this product works well. I didn't realize it wasn't compatible with my Android, yet. But I will gladly wait.
Kevo Plus os coming. I wish they would hurry. If you have an iPhone, they will work together.

Makes entry easy!

I use a cane, and would have to sit packages down to get my keys out of my pocket and then pick the packages up again. But now, all I have to do is touch the lock and open the door. I definitely like this. My kids never forget their phones but they forget their house key. So now I don't have to worry about it. I travel and it is great coming home late at night in the dark and not having to turn on the flash light app to find the lock and to put the key in the lock.
