Bought this for grandson as builds incredible planes, trucks, rockets, etc. with legos and erector sets at 8 years of age. so encouraging his math and engineering skills. Having one Technic item assembled already helps him to better understand the inner workings when assembling other such items. They are so far ahead of anything for the money and a great teaching tool. Be prepared to buy your kids lots of plastic parts boxes from amazon or your local tackle shop to keep small parts in.
