Choose this battery if you want simple

This is the battery that comes shipped with brand new LG G3s; techies will call this an OEM battery, or original equipment manufacturer. If you want to play it safe with buying replacement batteries, buy this one. Generally, if a battery is listed as compatible with your specific model, you can buy it without having to worry about problems because batteries really aren't that sophisticated compared to other parts with circuitry.

Capacity seems to vary between individual batteries of this kind; I've had some that last wonderfully and others that would require charging every single day, even after removing apps. No new apps have been installed, just updated, so I'm inclined to believe that there's a level of variance.

Something you'll want to note with your LG G3 is that you shouldn't charge it with an iPhone charging block or the conventional portable battery designed to charge smartphones. Most portable batteries are 5 volts, and this battery is 3.8 volts. Just buy two batteries and keep one as a backup in the stead of a portable charger.Read full review

Don't buy!

The item was even worse than my original battery. It had inconsistent battery percentage, you could be at 40% at first but as soon as you restart your phone its at 5%. I am pretty sure it ended up messing up my phone. Prior to the installation I had zero problems, besides a crappy battery. Now, the phone has micro SD reading issues. It continues to either say its corrupt or that there is no card. I have tried reseating it, which works for the first 5 mins, then reverts back to the error. DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT!Read full review

Fresh life for my LG G3

I found the battery no longer standing up to continued use, even with the screen brightness turned down and battery saving status assigned as many apps as I could. Reviews on this product were good, decided not to try going with a little more capacity as some batteries seemed to offer.

I bought two and I have an external charger that I purchased when I bought my phone a few years ago. I keep the extra battery charged up but so far (two weeks of use) the other new one seems to be doing quite well, charges up quickly and holds its own with normal use.

Exact replacement for the COE battery!

After 2 years use, the original LG battery did not charge to 100% and only held 8-10 hours use depending on apps. This new battery is the exact replacement and after several days, charges to 100% and lasts all day. Why replace my expensive phone when it does everything I need from a phone. MY old battery was constantly needing recharging - THis is a very affordable OEM solution

My LG G3 has been giving charging problems for a long time. For a while I could not find a charger that would charge the phone. I bought no name after market batteries and a generic charger to charge those batteries. Battery life was short and the solution was a pain.

My phone due to continued abuse .. I accept the blame has over the last 3 or 4 years gotten
so that every time I charged the phone or changed the battery the phone gave me the SIM
chip not found error and I had to play games sliding the chip in and out of the socket then reassemble the phone and usually it would work. It got worse and in one week Verizon changed the SIM chip there times. Once 5 minutes after the first time. I walked out of the
store with a working phone, plugged in my car charger as the battery was almost dead. I
got the error message no SIm chip ... I never even started my car's engine so back in or a new chip and transfer my contact list to an ASUS tablet that I bought ... as soon as the techie got my phone working again. I saved each of the three SIM chips removed and they
turned out to be good. This new battery gives me lots of on time for the phone and the sim
chip is now in a Galaxy 4 phone given to me. I still can use the LG G3 on the web via wifi
and also access my contact list and even receive text messages but I can not reply to them or send new ones without installing the sim chip. So once I get the contact list (900+ names) into my Galaxy the LG G3 will be just a smart phone without phone capabilities.
I have purchased a new SIM socket and that is a future review after I install it and a new
charging port. Both seem to be weaknesses in the LG G3 design. I loved the phone. I can still use the apps on it via wifi. Of course the nice camera works too. A new battery gives life to this phone and I am happy to have bought the battery and a charger that is specific
to that battery. I bought some Samsung branded B600BE batteries and wondered about their genuineness and age. This battery for my LG G3 seems to be as the original. I expect a long life.Read full review

OEM batteries, old stock, not good.

After properly charging the battery by typical a full-cycle method it repeatedly quickly lost power in a few hours, even when phone not in use. I believe that "OEM" buying old stock batteries is not the way to go. The shelf life (warehoused) condition probably had a negative influence on what was once was a good product.
