I do like my new phone. There are so many options available, my youngest daughter asked me why I don't use them all. I purchased this smart phone to replace my older, "dumb" phone, which I liked very much, but it was literally starting to fall apart. I call people, text, check Face Book, take pictures and get on-line sometimes. I know that there are many other things to do such as download movies and such, but I purchased the phone to be a phone. I did download a book and read it on my phone. it was adequate but I wouldn't recommend using it that way all the time. The screen is a bit small for novels!I wish the battery life was longer. To conserve energy, I keep my data turned off, use wifi where available and turn it off when I am going between places. I also turn the location off when it is not needed (if I remember). I have only ran out of power once since I got the phone about 6 weeks ago. The single occasion was when I was reading the book and didn't know all the tricks about conserving energy. VERY VERY serious troubles with this phone!! Do NOT buy it.

I had the phone for approximately 1 week before having problems with it.. It instantly shuts off 15-20 times a day even with a full charge.. It also shuts off instantly when using the flash on the camera set to auto.. However, It shuts off constantly even when not using the flash.. I researched the LG G4 and found 100's and 100's of other people with the same trouble. It turns out that about 20% of all people with the LG G4 are having serious and the SAME problem.. LG does offer a free repair service IF you bought it from them (meaning NON-Carrier branded) - However if you bought it from a 3rd party or got it from your Carrier you have to go through them to have it fixed. Note: This is an GREAT and totally amazing phone IF you are of the other 80% that didn't get a bad phone. It LOVE it.. But hate the issue.. I am currently trying to have it resolved.. Love this phone.

I used to have one of these a couple years ago until I broke it. Suffered through another until I saw that the price of these came down. Still my favorite, for both size and functionality. Great value, get it for the camera

This phone is a great value. Got it brand new and unlocked for $210. If you are looking for a reasonably priced phone or a great camera, this is perfect.

The Good:
Camera - Bought this for indoor pictures so I can get more of the family. Amazing camera that works well in low light.
Screen - Nice screen. Auto Dim features works great.
Performance - Good performance. With many apps installed I do not have any lag.
Memory - Love that an external sim card can be added. Great for video/picture storage.

LG G4 has acknowledge this model as defective!

Shuts off randomly and will not power back on for days at a time! Has software issues that are known to lg and currently have a lawsuit! You can Google it! It's just a matter of time before problems start occurring. I tried to not believe it and hope that I will get a model that was not defective. But it turned out otherwise I should have listened to the reviews and have just bought a different model phone. If you do happen to purchase this phone please purchase an extended warranty to cover this problem! Then they will either fix it or fully refund you.Read full review

Do not waste your time

LG sucks

I got this item because it was supposed to have an unlockable bootloader. Not true. Even though it was the H815 model, LG said it was the wrong variant so I was forced to use the bloated stock rom. So I gave it to my kid to use. It then died within a couple of weeks. Motherboard issue. Unfixable according to the local repair shop. A total waste of time and money.
