Great Movie! Nice Special Effects.

I have seen this movie a few times.
The story is interesting and fun. Sarah's Baby Brother gets lost in the "Labyrinth" and She set out on a journey through the intricate maze to save him. The visual effects are great considering the year it was produced and filmed. (1986). Jim Henson does an excellent job of incorporating many unique puppets seamlessly into the film. This film has an awesome soundtrack with music by David Bowie and Trevor Jones. Labyrinth is a great Family movie. It's a major plus that it is now available on Blu Ray. :) This movie is well worth the price. This purchase was a gift, next time i'm getting one for Myself. :)Read full review

Who doesn't love seeing David Bowie in tights?

I STILL absolutely love this movie! I remember watching Labyrinth on my VHS so much when I was younger, my dad had to buy a second copy!!! Jim Henson is, and always will be a Puppeteer God! Jennifer Connelly portrays the character Sarah perfectly! Teaching us all the lesson of being careful what you wish for......And, who doesn't love seeing David Bowie in tights? An excellent transfer of a great classic!

This is a classic musical with a lot of 80s style. David Bowie, Jim Henson, and Jennifer Connelly are amazing. Underground and When the World Falls Down are great songs that will stick with you for life!

The video qauality is fantastic! Actually, the picture is so clear in HD that you can see the strings used on some scenes, and the special affects looks a little off. These are things you would miss on a DVD, but that's not unusual for older movies. I love the puppetry, and the extras are well presented.
