A great "feel good" movie and the scenery was great. Romantic and funny. Just a really enjoyable movie. I buy all of Amy Adams' movies as she's a really good actress and I grew up with her father so, of course, I want to support a friend's daughter. If she was a lousy actress I might only watch her movies and not buy them, but she's delightful! She can act, sing and dance. Utterly delightful!!!!

This is a hugely funny and heart warming movie about a man and woman who meet under very strange circumstances. The plot is very well written and produced. Suffice to say it highlights modern American priorities with emphasis on "money and getting ahead". All is resolved and sorts itself out in the end - happy of course! Highly recommended for all who are endeared to Ireland and the simple country life there - perhaps a bit extreme in the movie but delightful all the same.Read full review...

Soooooooo Funny!

I've read tons of reviews on this movie and lots are unfavorable. But I have to say it is a great movie! You know exactly where its going at every turn but its surprisingly hilarious in the most unexpected places. Which makes it worth watching. There are some romantic comedies that no matter what the title or actors you feel you've already seen the movie before just under another name. You don't get that here.
