This is a book that makes one of the nicest, best gifts to give to any animal lover. From the adolescent to the senior. Lily and the Octopus was a salve for me after losing my dog, a dog I grew old with, a dog that was a companion, a therapist, who provided affection and love through the good and the truly dark days in my life.
