Easy to set-up, am very happy with this product.

Replaced my wireless G, 54 MPS, router with this model.While it's only been 24 hours, I can see a definite speed difference. I have been able to add a printer and two wireless connected computers are sharing this printer. Per the Linksys specs, I did not think I would be able to share the printer. I'm not a super tech but did all this set-up without any calls to tech support. I wish there were a printed manual but even without this the set-up was a breeze. Linksys E4200 - excellent bang for the buck

Only the V1 with the Broadcom chipset can be upgraded to DD-WRT firmware. That said, once these units are upgraded they are the best value for your money. The e3000 is almost identical hardware offering only slightly slower wireless modes so it too is a great value. Neither offer AC mode but wireless N at 300 or 450 Mbps is faster than 99% of the services you can link to. If you are patient you can pick them up under $40Read full review...

Cisco Linksys E4200 - Big Time Performer!

I used to be a huge fan of the d-link DIR-655 routers and had three in my house (1 router and 2 repeaters) until I kept having to reboot them. I recently upgraded all three routers with the Cisco Linksys E4200 and have been blown away by the performance. With my laptop having the latest wifi card technology, I have doubled my internet speed using the Linksys compared to the D-Link router. Best purchased I have made in a while! It's worked flawlessly.

I've always had good experiences with Linksys/Cisco products. Their costumer service has never let me down. The down side, when the fix requires an up-grade. Their techs have gotten pushy to buy the up-grade on the spot from them. I saved big finding this up-grade on e-bay. Because the tech spent a chunk of time helping me, I felt just a little bad not getting from them at full retail. However, I got over it when I saw the money I saved.Read full review...

Great router and got for a very good price on Ebay.

Bought the E4200 to replace an old Linksys G Router. I am currently running two blue rays, a laptop, and old desktop connected to my flat screen, and a printer off of the 4200 and have not had a single issue with any of the devices. Great router easy to set up and use

Needed a new router and this one is working for what I needed great unit was easy to set up the wireless net work and even got the printer set up wireless as well great unit.
