Buy it now, there is nothing better!

The fastest router available at this time for home use. Went from 12 Mbps to 22!

It is best to implement simple configuration out of the box and combine G & N. Just create the network and start surfing. You lose speed if you divide it and just access the N band.

The GUI is well thought out too.

I purchased this router and a new 3.0 docsis cable modem because I installed two Roku's and a Google Tv in my home for Netflix streaming, in addition to running up to three laptops wirelessly at the same time There has been no loss of performance or conflicts.

The majority of the performance gains came from the router and not the new 3.0 modem.

Great purchase!! Great product!!

I decided to purchase this router to get a long range for my wireless netowrk. I wanted the highest rated router for domestic use and i think i got it!
I especially like the dual band feature where visitors can be given internet access without having access to our files etc. It's very professionally set up and the Cisco Connect is quite user friendly.
I've always been biased toward Linksys products and their relationship with Cisco is a bonus.Read full review...

Easiest to install and set up of all the routers we've had. Love the security features and ease of use of the guest feature. Operational quality is excellent and provides us with a tremendous boost in speed on the internet and with all our devices. Time will tell - Great Home Wireless Router.

Refurbished Linksys E4200 was easy to setup.
This unit replaced a D-Link router that was hit by a lighting strike. The signal strength compared to the replaced router was increased by two bars with the computer on opposite ends of the home. I attached my Seagate Free-Agent-Go backup drive to the USB port and the software would time out before it recognised the drive, replaced it with a 32 gigabyte flash drive with no problems.
Sleek, no external antennas with a small footprint.
The share requires a password for computers to interface on the same network.
Connect speeds are as good on wireless as they are on Ethernet connections.
I have not contacted the Linksys help line as of date to check them out.
On Line movies are shudder free on the computer ( have not connected to the smart TV, yet.)
I gave it five stars from the time it was installed - only time will tell if I have to change my mind !Read full review...

Great product, great features, QUICK set up!

So far good product. VERY easy to set up, has a lot of good features. You can easily program a USB flashdrive with all of the info from your router. You can then plug your flashdrive into any computer/device and it will instantly connect that peripheral for you. If you have to reset the router (back to mfg settings) you can then use the USB to quickly reset your own settings. You can set parental controls for each individual item. It has it's own Guest login. So far it seems to be working fine (I bought mine used on eBay) although it has only been a day and we have only surfed with it. Haven't streamed any large files, movies or games yet. Not sure how it compares with cheaper models as I haven't had other ones.Read full review...

would buy again without question

works great. had an old router, and was just not performing. this new one is much better. way fast. range is better, but walls and floor still take away alot of distance. it was not super easy to install however. had to hook up several devices. had a dell wireless printer that i finally had to call dell about and had someone remotely put in about 6 drivers before one worked. cost me 30.00 dollars to do. but all in all i love this thing. no lagg on netflix or anything. runs around 17 megs on 20 meg speed connection.Read full review...

Buy this Router!!

This is a replacement for an older Linksys router. It was still working but unable to handle multiple gamimg systems, 2 laptops and a netbook without slowing down. Pop the CD into your laptop or PC and it guides you through a step-by-step, very easy installation process. Also, leads you through the security settings as part of the set-up!! In the past I would have to dig through the settings menu to establish my username and password!! This was awesome!! You are up and running in less then a half hour. That is from opening the box to surfing the web at "Super Sonic" speeds!! Have used Netgear in the past but Linksys has much better and more reliable products.....I won't buy anything else.Read full review...
