A man who writes from his poems, and from the heart!

Seeing Leonard in person for this concert, makes you feel as though you were there with the audience! So many of his great songs...his back up with Sharon Robinson, with whom he has written so many of his songs...the many fine musicians making the background spectacular. I'm 74, and can only imagine how many of those in the audience were enthralled, whether from my generation, or many from this one. His music always sounds new.

Outstanding performance

Years ago I worked for Columbia Records when Leonard Cohen was one of our major artists. I was impressed by "Suzanne", but beyond this one song, I was not a Leonard Cohen fan. Over the years, times and feelings change. I recently watched this concert on PBS and was blown away by the ease with which Mr. Cohen approached his material and the audience. I became a "Cohen Convert" and knew I had to purchase this package containing this London concert. To say the least, I was not disappointed. His "Dance Me To The End of Love" is absolutely haunting. One of the BEST concert DVD's ever...

This DVD (and ‘The Last Waltz’ of course) were two of the best concerts ever and the world is lucky they've been saved for the ages. We put on the 'Live in London' a couple times a year and smile. A wonderful musical experience with an icon.

I had never really heard of him before and normally not my kind of music. Leonard Cohen fans this is the creme de la creme

This is a Fantastic DVD, Leonard at his best. Just to see the smile on my husbands face while he watches this is a great reward. Not only is Leonard in fine form but you get to see all the members of his "family" at there best. I say family because you can see the great admiration he has for each individual of the group. the best concerts I've had the priviladge to see .

The sound , the filming the poems the songs the best of Leonard Cohen. I took my family to see him proform at the Wiltern Theater in Los Angeles 20 years ago and my family has never stopped talking about it. He shares his heart and soul with you and it's an absolute pleasure. Live in London proves the old addage thinks get better with time Leonard Cohen only gets better. May we all.
