Excellent Twist

This is a great live album. The orchestra really puts a new and sometimes beautiful twist on songs and in my opinion, they make this a great live release. Dio appearing here on a couple of sons off of the hugely under rated "Butterfly Ball" album that Roger Glover did years ago was worth the price alone. The stuff Dio did from his own band felt out of place here but there's plenty to make up for that. This may be my favorite Deep Purple live album, and they've put out more of those than anyone.Read full review...
