Great Remote..Once set up
Would give this a 5 star rating if it were not so cumbersom setting up. But, once you have it set up correctly....it works absolutely great. I have a smarttv,audio system and tivo roamio. It has all the necessary inputs and commands for each device and 95% of the time it gets it spot on. For the remaining 5% of the time....the help function on the remote corrects the problem with just a few taps. I like it much more than the Harmony 650...battery charger is also a plus...reccomend this product highly. Read full review...

Don't believe the Logitech hype!
It looks like a quality piece of equipment, but seems almost too small in the hand. For me, it's difficult to see the keys when the room is dark. The touchscreen is way too sensitive and has a cramped feeling to it, making it difficult to accurately make a selection. Since there are no hard buttons for numbers, they must be accessed on the screen. I have had this remote for almost a month and have yet to be able to accurately key in a 4 digit cable channel. I have been forced to use the "Favorites" to isolate the channels I use most using a single touch on the screen. The problem is that if I decide to access another device while watching TV and return to my cable device I lose access to my favorites on the screen. I have yet to figure out how to get them back because I haven't found a command that I can program as an item on the touchscreen.
Programming is not as simple as advertised. I have a URC MX-450 that I have set up to do everything I need to make using three remotes a thing of the past. I bought the 950 thinking I might upgrade my remote experience to the latest technology. It's been a frustrating experience so far and I'll likely go back to my MX-450 and just use the 950 as a backup. Logitech, I was expecting so much more!!!!Read full review...

Probably the best multi function remote available but leaves more to be desired than it should.
Like the other six Logitech devices that I own or have owned, this one is quite good but predictably for Logitech, it somewhat misses the mark.
Inputs are too often ignored and TV channel selections often take three or more try's to get to the correct channel. This problem is common to the last three Logitech remotes that I own or have owned.
Charging the remote is also problematic. One parks the remote in the charging stand, the display says that it is charging but you pick it up four hours later and it has completely failed to charge. This problem occurs on one in three or four charge attempts.Read full review...

This Logitech Harmony 950 replaced three other remotes. Very easy to program with Logitech's PC based application. Logitech's library of audio visual equipment is immense, and included the three pieces I wanted to control: my TCL 4K UHD TV, my Onkyo AV Receiver and my Sony 4K Blue Ray Player. I was easily able to program the 950 for several activities including custom ones such as "Watch TV", "Watch a DVD", "Listen to a CD" and "Listen to AM Radio". This was real easy to set up since it was replacing an older Logitech remote. Opened the software and copied the configuration over. This remote also has a way to add your favorite channel buttons which is real handy. One new device I added was remote functions for Apple TV. That reduces another remote on the table.
