Not your normal snowball fight!

This game is one of the best strategy games out there. Walking around in the freezing cold, taking out creatures with multiple sick weapons to choose from. You cannot stand still in this game. So many enemies coming at you that you must kill to obtain heat to stay alive. If you don't, you will freeze to death. But this game is all about Xbox Live. Its a blast to play with different people either every man for himself, or a team battle. I recommend this to anyone who loves to play online games and a good strategy and challenge. Lost Planet (xbox 360) Kicks Butt !!!

I originally bought this game because of the hype and advertising surrounding the game. However, Capcom delivered. The action is awesome and extremely fun to play. I really had fun playing this game. I especially like the storyline. There are several cut scenes that really drive the story along. The game is challenging and frustrating at times, but that's what makes it so good. Great game! Great fun!

I really enjoyed Lost Planet. I was planning on getting it off and on for awhile and I'm really happy I bought it. It can be bought pretty cheap now and is worth every penny and then some. The game is probably around 10 hours long and has a TON of replay value. Such as collecting things and playing through the game on different difficulties. The boss battles were awesome and one of my favorite parts about the game. The mech (Vital Suit) controls are very sharp and easy to control as well as the character himself. I'd have to say that this one is pretty good online. I still like my Battlefield 2, but this one has potential. It is fun, and has good functions on the map as to what you can do, climb, and destroy. I didn't play it offline. I used to own it, but sold it because it was worth too much at launch. I may go buy it again, not that the used prices have gone down.Read full review...

Cold Hard Action.

Lost Planet is a action filled game that will get intense. Some of the creatures are hard to beat and others are a little easier then others. But it pure fun. The graphic are sweet looking. Lost Planet: Extreme Condition - One Hell-of-a-game!

This game is awesome! The graphics are great, the game play is great. You can't go wrong with this one!! The controls are similar to most 3rd person shooters but changed slightly in a good way. I love the grappling hook feature.

It’s rated “T” for teen so you don’t see any blood or gore and the language is toned down a lot. It’s more of a fantasy game in which you are going after alien type creatures to harvest some kind of Thermal Energy. Along the way you run into other rival Snow Pirates who are doing the same so you do have to kill and compete with them to stay alive.

The creatures are all original. I’ve never seen anything like them. Very cool!Read full review...

Lost Planet: Same Game, Better Upgrades

If you haven't played this game yet, you're doing yourself an injustice. One of the most unique shooters ever made, Capcom has outdone themselves completely. Mechs, Unique Weapons, Unlockable Characters (I only play for the online... never touched the single to be honest, try it on Xbox Live and you'll understand).

Buy the game, it stands completely on it's own. Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty, Resident Evil, any of these games are just not even close to this, it's completely unique.Read full review...

awesome game of the year

one of the worste games i play since ninja gaiden 2 for the xbox 360 there not much to do this game just mutliplayer & that even bigger waste then the campain & story linen the gameplay is very poor u get kill more in this game i can't even beat the last boss on this on hard im still ahve strugges with finding all the targets in this which i still dont know why capcom fail to make design of the finding all targets marks in one difficul setting on top of that i try using youtube there no video trailer 4 this even getting guide was a pain so please don't get this gameRead full review...

good, but not the best one out there

controls easy to get used to, graphics good, and story line interesting. i got this because it seemed like starship troopers,and it is similiar. it does have its downside however :( you have an energy meter that constantly counts down, which in a way prevents you from exploring the landscape. you get more energy from certain terrain you can destroy, and from killing the planets inhabitants, but to really explore the landscape and terrain without limitation, you need the meter gone.Read full review...
