Love DOES cost something!!!

The movie is effective in that it touches on a fundamental theme in growing. We all experience the groing pains and the sometimes tragic effects of peer pressure. How will we deal with these obstacles and challenges? Well, please watch and see how Alvin Johnson deals with his and in doing so, what lessons can we draw from his example.

My ONLY disappointment is that the movie is too much like "Can't Buy Me Love" starring Patrick Dempsey. I think the writers and Director could have done a much better job in interweaving a more thought-provoking and fresh story line.

This storey was done before this version is better

A storey of a high school misfit.He is smart but is a social disaster.So he pays a girl to be his girlfriend for a couple weeks so he can be popular.Everyone learns lessons from this storey.
