Love Takes Wing is an extension of the ongoing saga .

I started the series and plan to stay with it until the very end. I like the clean written stories that proves we can have good clean family stories or T.V. that is entertaining and has some teaching values.

I am having a hard time keeping the generations straight. Sometimes I think we should keep the generations to one or two, however, she has brought the original parents or now the grandparents back into the picture several times.

I feel that no matter how many new additions added they will have a very hard time having the appeal the first novel had. Love Comes Softly was such a touching story and laid a perfect foundation for the following stories.

Great Family Movie - With a Message

If you Love this movie you just have to start from the beginning. This is the seventh movie in the Love Comes Softly series.
Two female doctors come to Missouri and none too soon. The town is in the grip of an epidemic that appears to have.The women have to battle the usual Victorian prejudices about women in certain male only professions, plus both women have their own demons to battle. Read full review...

Part of an absolute great series

The old west is still part of our lives ... it is our past, our heritage. Those hard times of our ancestors had moments of love, laughter and sharing that gave us all hope for the future even though at the time, life was not easy. Life was hard as they didn't have the modern conveniences we have now. To see how they handled it in this series gives us that warm, fuzzy feeling of thankfulness in our hearts for those who had the courage to tame the west.Read full review...

My least favorite, but still...

Rented movie #2 at the library and fell in love. I have never read the books, not much of a leisure reader, I'm afraid, but thought the stories were very inspiring, entertaining, real and stirring. Of all the 8 movies, this was my least favorite. Mainly because of the lead role and her cynic demeanor. This one just doesn't grip you as much as the other ones. Love takes wing, a movie for all.

I loved this series on TV and since I tend to watch a lot of movies vs regular TV this was one I wanted to add to my collection. The follow through on the characters is very good. The stories are interesting and have a happy ending. As a group of people we need more happy endings. I recommend this movie or series of movies to anyone who has a soft spot in their heart for others. The books are excellent too and the movies combined them very well.Read full review...

love takes wing missed the details

I decided to buy this movie because I have the first 6 of this series. I rated this move below average because the director missed details!! The main character Belinda was a burnette growingup but in this movie as an adult she is a blonde. And it was a blonde wig at that, not even a good one. Hair dye came in the 1900's. My husband started to watch it but was turned off after just a few minutes because right at the beginning they show shots of the town and you could tell it was just built for a stage. They didn't make the town look aged, it was kinda fake looking. The love touches that is in the first movies of this series was not in this one.. for example when Willie kept Missy's ribbons all those years....this movie did not have that. Also there was no chemistry between the main character Belinda and her found love Lee, their first kiss was more of an attack standing at the end they both looked like neither wanted to be there. I hope the next and final movie of the series is better than this one.Read full review...

y tiene un muy buen libreto de la Fe Cristiana
lo recomiendo para aquella personas a quienes les esta tambaleando, la Fe en Dios,
Dios tiene un excelente proposito para cada uno de nosotros
y aunque aveces no lo entendemos su plan de Dios es perfecto
solo quiere lo mejor para nosotros.

This is a very high quality DVD. I love "Love Takes Wing", as well as all the other films produced by Michael Landon, Jr. It is very appropriate entertainment for my whole family to watch together without the worries of profanity, sexuality, violence or vulgarity found in so many movies today.
