Best baseball graphics I've ever seen

Overall, this is probably the best baseball game ever made. The graphics are second to none. Between the authenticity of the stadiums, the players and the player movements, its like watching a real game. However, the one thing they did not fix is the fact that its still way too hard to hit on any level above "Veteran". I mean you can guess the pitch and location and time your swing perfectly and still ground out. Obviously that's going to happen from time to time, but it seems to happen all the time in this game. Also, the computer's defense is beyond ridiculous. It's near impossible to get a ground ball out of the infield. Forget trying to shoot a ball through the 1st or 3rd base hole. The 2B or SS will make an unbelievable diving stop every time. Same goes for groundballs up the middle. The one thing they did fix for this year is that its easier to hit a ball into the gaps. In last year's game, the outfielders would run everything down.
Again, this is one of the best (if not the best) baseball game ever made, but if you're looking for a game that's easy to play, look somewhere else

Realism isn't good for someone who just wants it to be a 'game.' ima go cry

I've been playin this for about 5 hours now and man...Either I'm a big buffoon or this game is super difficult for an 'average' person to play...While I guessing the former is more likely...I have tried to set all the 'sliders' to increase my players ability but I still can't hit for junk. Maybe it just takes a lot of time invested to get your RTTS (Road to the Show) character to where he's half way decent and doesn't always have to guess and sit on first pitch fastballs all the time, but at this point I'd have to say this is a very difficult game...and very frustrating for that reason. Everything else about the game seems sweet though...I like the presentation and graphics and how sometimes the player catches the ball THROUGH his glove haha. If anyone has tips for how to improve let me know! (Aside from saying 'hey, just stop being such an idiot, dude!') :PRead full review...

Yes very great game! Must buy if you want cheap baseball game!

I bought this game because i don't have a baseball game and i saw mlb 10 the show and i saw the realism in this and i was like heck yea! and i got it for 9 bucks. i know MLb 12 the show is already out but it was too expensive. The only problem about this game is that the take too long to throw the ball and some errors its rediculous but other than that great graphics and gameplay its also very challenging. But if you want a up to date with graphics then get mlb 12 the show but mlb 10 the show is just as good :PRead full review...

not only the best baseball game ever, but the best sports game of all time!

By far the best baseball game ever made! The quality of realism is amazing. Players going into slumps as in real life. Broken bats. The ball parks and fans make everything so real. I cant stop playing it. All the game modes are great. Franchise you get to run and manage the everything that has to do with your team. Its difficult but its great. Road to the show mode you start out with your character as a nobody trying to make it to the big leagues. It gives you a different perspective while in this mode. As you are playing your character only and not the whole team. Hitting, fielding, and baserunning is all you have control of. Its great. This game is very much worth being a part of your game collection.Read full review...

MLB '10 The Show

This game is an ongoing fun & challenging video game version on what it is like to make it to the show. The game has so many different gaming options it is almost endless. The game can still use a few upgrades such as a better tutorial or a direction booklet. The game is a very good buy and won't disappoint.Read full review...

MLB the Show 10

MLB the Show has proven to be the outright best baseball game on the market. The fluid gameplay along with the crowd and stadium realistic look it makes for a unforgettable game experience. The players faces are even closer looking to the real guys than ever before. The futures and homerun Derby are great additions to make the season even more realistic. The franchise mode has not changed a lot but it was great before. Overall it is the best baseball game I have ever played.Read full review...

I bought a PS3 spent $300.00 plus the cost of the game just to play this thing!!! best baseball game out there, MLB 2K10 doesnt come close in comparison!!! Do not hesitate to buy this game, if your team is doing crappy in real life, crushing the Yankees with your team in the game quickly makes you feel a lot better!!! BOOOOO to you Yankee fans and the other half of your population that have no connection to them and are bandwagoners!!!Read full review...
