Good baseball game with glitches

The game is the best baseball game for xbox or pc. The only problem is the occasional freeze mode and reboot.

Same as last year

I give it a rating of three because of the hard work developing the game play (players running, sliding, swing etc) but other than a few lines by the commentators, there aren't or haven't been any significant or worthy changes to this game over the past two or three years. 2K has become lazy and this game showcases their complacency. Most of the script is the same as it's been for the past 3 years (please no more "Have them in the cat bird seat" comments), no new mini games, to many achievements in My Player and Online modes and to few in Season mode. They still haven't fixed the ERA problem so if you rock an opposing pitcher for lets say 5 runs after an error was committed or he comes in to relieve, it shows zero earned runs. And David price for the cover? 2K Sports still fails to have anything special with the players it highlights on its cover or others who have had incredible seasons. Who wouldn't want to see a ball hit over the wall and through a windshield every so often? 2K Sports prides itself on the realism but this year like last year and the year before doesn't deliver. There is no ball boy on the first/third baselines. Come on 2K, bring them back and make them part of the fun. The game is very static so don't expect anything different from last year. 2K is the only game in town but we're stuck with them until MLB can dump them for a company that understands American baseball and the nuances associated with it.
