Terrific Cuckoo Clock!

Had a wooden black forest cuckoo clock for years. Had it fixed several times. Finally gave up on it, but missed the bird chirping the hours. So I bought a Muji mechanical wall cuckoo clock as a replacement as a holiday present. It is terrific! Runs on one battery, keeps very good time, looks like a tall one room house painted plain white with a round hole on the front wherein resides a small white cuckoo bird. Each hour and half hour the bird sticks its head out and chirps a slightly different tone coo-coo than the prior black forest clock I had. The clock has an small dot on it that is a photo cell that senses light, so that when the room is dark the cuckoo bird automatically does not chirp. It gets great comments from visitors to the house that see or hear the clock for the first time. The clock came from Japan, was well packaged, arrived in about 10 days, included directions, and worked first time right out of the box.Read full review...
