Maisy is a favorite
My youngest daughter inherited a copy of this book from her older sister (who was not so careful in preserving the flaps and pages!), so she had never seen a fully functional copy of the book. However, despite the torn pages from years of enjoyment, she still loved the story and is at the stage where she is identifying the words, almost reading it herself. So I bought her a new copy of the book and we recycled the old one. She is so happy with it, we have read it at least daily since getting the new copy. It provides a short, simple and quite readable treat before bedtime or anytime! The vivid colors and simple words make it a joy for the budding reader (and her parents!).Read full review...
Maisy Goes To Bed by Lucy Cousins
My kinder students can never get enough of Maisy but this one seems particularly loved - not sure if it is the potty training pages with the moving toilet paper etc. or the mini book Maisy is reading at the end.I have had to replace multiple copies because they were so well read/loved!Read full review...
