good replacement product
Ordered this battery package after reading a bunch of reviews on different sites. Recognized the item by the "linen gloves" included. Ordered a 2 battery package. Both fit my Makita hand drill, both charged when using the old charger (both got warm), and both run the drill well. Have not tested by running to exhaustion, but so far so good. Now have 2 functional batteries for half of what a single OEM battery would have cost. Good deal, would buy again!Read full review...

2200mA? Who knows, maybe yes, maybe no...
I opened one up and the cells had no markings. I don't have a load tester, so I can't put
a gauge to it. I've put it thru several charge cycles, conditioning it. It won't hold a good charge for
more than a couple weeks. It has acceptable power right off the charger, however. It's alright for the price, I guess. The cells look like china made stuff, of course. I hear Japan is going to start making NiCd batteries again (Panasonic?). Maybe we can get some great tool cells again.
My Sanyo cells lasted 18 years! At the end of the day, I guess the price is pretty good for these, but I'd go for the 1500mA units seen in other listings. That's a more honest rating, and the ones I opened are actually marked "1500mA"!Read full review...

Stick Batteries - Right Price, (Probably) Good Performance
They was a little bit of a delay in their getting here, but they seem to charge and hold that charge as one would expect. I used my drill only a little after receiving these, but they seem to perform as well as the original Makita battery. So far, so good - - - .Read full review...

Bodacious battery
I've been looking for the 9.6v battery at a reasonable price for quite a while, apparently not hard enough. The Makita brand is of the highest quality and I would rate these batteries very comparable to Makita, but the price doesnt compare. I think the last time I priced them they were close to 30 bucks...each!!Read full review...

9.6V Stick Style Battery For MAKITA
Seem to work as well or better than the much more expensive OEM Makita battery. Time will tell but I expect them to hold up.

good place to order this battery
I have 3 drill units and 3 flash lights and ran out of batteries. Now I am back in remodeling around the house. Price was a lot better than local buying.

Gets hot when charging
The battery got really hot during initial charging. Nothing melted, but it was too hot to hold in your hand. I set it on a concrete floor until it cooled. Seems to work OK in the old Makita drill I bought it for, but I haven't run it enough to discharge it yet.Read full review...

Good value, exact fit.
The battery came here in just a few days, it was a perfect fit, and it came already charged and ready for use. I think I will get many years out of this battery like the previous one it replaced.

9.6V Makita batteries
Bought 4 of these batteries so far, only have had them about a month, so far they work great.
I'll know a lot more about them in a few years, but they seem to work good now.
Only gave them 4 stars, since I won't really won't know how good they are until I've had them 3 or 4 years.
Seems they always want you to review a product before you have time to know how good it is, but so far I would recommend.Read full review...
