Makita's 40V puts them at the top of the efficency battery game.
its pretty much all pro's, the the 40V stuff is on the expensive side, but, the weakest part of Makita was the batteries in their 18V, this is entirely a different item, batteries last, hold a charge and I have had no early failures of batteries which I have had in Milwaukee and Metabo/Hioki/Hitachi where some batteries fail.
