Of all the videos that I have seen about Michael Jackson, THIS one tells the TRUTH! It is a compilation of his life up to the time that he was acquitted of all child molestation charges! Flex Alexander (as a complete unknown to the industry) does a superb job of portraying the King of Pop and his battles with his inner demons, and trying to re-invent himself to stay in the spotlight for his fans!

It gives us a candid glimpse inside his "persona" and most especially, his huge heart! His longing for a childhood and innocence makes a poignant backdrop to his Mega-Stardom! Money and fame can not buy happiness, and is not a cure for loneliness, as this well-written and directed film shows us. This is a recommended DVD for the library of ANYONE who is a fan of Michael Jackson. And also for anyone wishing to learn more about this AMAZING man and the sacrifices one must make in order to have the Super-Stardom that he attained!

Man in the Mirror- good story

I liked this movie about Michael Jackson It took you through his life from young with his father and how hard he was on him to when he was older and all the great music and dance that he did and how he dealt with things in his life from good to bad and how the bad hurt him, I wish more people would watch this one, even if its not Michael on the film it was still very good, I would tell anyone to purchase this one but make sure that they know it's not Michael Jackson playing the roll, but it is still very good.Read full review...

Awefull 'movie'. Ended up in my trash after I saw it.

Bad movie. Don't spend your money on it.
I bought it, saw it and felt sick and nocious. I immediatly threw this in the garbage.
- acting was very very poor
- the story is NOT factual
- I don't get the need to let 'Flex' (the actor) turn himself 'whiter' with the help of what seemed to be babypowder

I've followed Michael from the age of 6. I know just about everything that happened in his life.
So I know what I'm talking about when I say: don't waste your time / money at this very poor awfull 'play'.Read full review...

Didnt really like the movie. I think it could of been done better. Not enough of Michaels music or his musical succsess for what he was known for. Not even the ending credits have any Michael Jackson songs.

I purchased the movie thinking it was going to be simular to the Jacksons Mini-series. Now that was a great DVD set. I cant say too much about the Man in the mirror DVD.Read full review...

Great story!!!

i love this movie because it talks about Michael's life from start to finish. it talks about how hard Joe was on Michael. And it talks about when Michael hung Blanket out the window, he didn't notice what he was doing he was just trying to let the voting fans his new born baby. It talks about much more too. It is a great story if you want to know more about Michael Jackson and what it was like then you should definitely get this movie.Read full review...

this movie was ok!! i thought it could of been better. I watched it twice!! after i watched it i sold it and got some good money for it. not the best VH1 product i think.

This was an awful movie. Terrible actors/actresses. Very poor depiction of Michael Jackson. Not worth the money. Need to give it away for free.
