First in the series I've played: Lovin' it

(DISCLAIMER: I HAVE NOT YET BEATEN THE GAME) I haven't played Superstar Saga, Partners in Time, or Bowser's Inside Story, but Dream Team so far has compelled me to, at some point, visit every one of its predecessors. The battles, overworld, dream world, writing, game mechanics, graphics, and aesthetic of this game are extremely compelling, as well as numerous more. The only things about the game that I dislike so far are the easiness (i.e. could be more challenging) and the infamous tutorials, which probably really only negatively affect those who have played every game in the series. These cons are of course small potatoes, and as such, paired with the many pros of the game, is why I would highly recommend Mario & Luigi: Dream Team to anyone who has a console in the 3DS family or is looking for a reason to buy one.Read full review...

Lots of tutorials worst Mario and Luigi game. Even in the battles as well you can never get a break from the tutorials in this game. Don’t recommend if you hate tutorials big disappointment.

Great game, its good for those Mario and Luigi lovers of games. Reminds me of super Mario world and the like. It's one of those games that would be great for a younger child or the Mario enthusiast. great soundtrack, loads of fun, with an long and very imaginitive story!

the overall story plot is a bit too kiddie for me, but it's very imaginative. the dialogue is funny and very well written. i dig reading the funny french accents. the main villain was too skimmed over, i wanna know more about him! the music is well composed. every soundtrack fit the situation perfectly. the battles are SO FUN. i especially like the boss battles a lot, but sometimes there's a unfair difficulty spike. on the other hand, actually figuring out regular baddie's tells is very satisfying! i love the animation of each of their attacks. very unique. mario and luigi's special attacks are very fun to execute. each are unique and rather cool! this game is about 40 hours but i didn't even feel like it was that long cause i had so much fun playing it! maps are filled with hidden away areas and stuff which encourages the player to come back again and explore even more post game. i love that. there are many minigames that will add plenty of extra playtime.Read full review...

I may be in my 60's, but I still love my Mario. Different moves and games. Always fun. I like the games where all of your characters have to participate. Makes you think quickly.
