Funny romantic comedy from the cool Rat Pack era!

This movie is finally available on dvd! And it's a good thing if you are a fan of Frank Sinatra and/or Dean Martin, two of the coolest guys of their times!

Speaking of cool, Dean's bachelor pad is so amazingly kitsch! It's everything I imagined a bachelor pad from the 50's/60's would look like when I get carried away to this awesome period when I listen to my Ultra-Lounge CDs.

Some funny lines in there too. Dean and Frank are great, and so are beautiful Deborah Kerr, Cesar Romero (who was also in the Rat Pack movie OCEAN'S 11) and a very cute teenage Nancy Sinatra.

Now this movie will seem outdated to most modern audiences, BUT, if you are a fan of the Rat Pack, of that great early 60's period retro look and decor, of romantic comedies of the period (like the Doris Day/Rock Hudson movies for example), then you will like this one.

On the negative side, aside from a rather rushed ending (it could have used a little more emotion I think): no musical number from either Frank or Dean! How could they miss this opportunity to feature two of the greatest entertainers of their times? Instead, we get a song by Trini Lopez?!? Oh well, at least the musical score is by Nelson Riddle, so it's not a complete lost.Read full review...

A splendid mid-1960s Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin movie. This film is the squarest sex comedy one has ever had the pleasure to watch!
