This Collection brings me way back...

Man, I love this game because it brings me back to the time when Mega Man first came out on NES. Although the graffix in the original games weren't as great as in this collection, I have to admit that if you had fun playing the original on NES, then you'll 4 sure become that Mega Man Couch Potato once again. I'm just glad that they kept everything darn close to original, especially the music. That music is classic & I'm pretty sure anyone else who is a Mega Man fan would agree. One last great feature of this Collection is the "difficulty level" setting. The original didn't have this feature(I wish it did), so I remember sitting there day after day(after & before school,sometimes during), hour after hour trying to beat it, but at least I finally did.(without codes or anything!)By this time, Mega Man 2 was out.Read full review...

A must own for Mega Man fans!

Mega Man was always one of my favorite games as a kid, but there are several that I never got to play the first time around. I was excited to hear that a Mega Man collection was coming to PS4, but I was very disappointed to find that it only contained the first 6 games. This collection is a MUCH better deal, with all 8 from the original series, plus 2 arcade games (never-before-released in the U.S.)! If you still have a PS2, and are a fan of the series or just enjoy great 2D Action/platforming, this is definitely worth picking up. Mega Man Legacy Collection (PS4/XBoxOne/3DS) contains only the 1st 6 games -- here you get 7/8 too and it's 1/2 the price. No brainer. Sure, MMLC is HD, but what's the signal delay on your HDMI? -- not going to make it thru Quick Man's stage w/o time-stopper, I assure you. Classic mega man is the best.

This is a great value game! I like the music remixes as well when you have the navi option chosen in the game.

I highly recommend giving this game a play through. The remix of the music is real good for boss battles. I recommend this game, and the MegaMan legacy game. Both are worth it.

Old Gaming at its Best

Yeah, anymore newer games practically walk you through themselves.. offering little to no challenge. Well prepare to get your butt handed to you. old NES style..
Megaman 1-8 are hard games... you have to be excellent at jumping to and from small ledges high in the air and also be quick on the trigger finger as well. If you dont like dieing alot.. these games arent for you. but when you beat them they are well earned. If your older like me, and actually owned a NES, the nastalga sets in, and it is really cool to see these games. They have some sentimental value.
I havent actually played this compilation(other then the Nes),... so i cant speak on the loading times.. but i know other similar compilations suffered from long loadign times.Read full review...

A Game For The Ultimate Mega Man Fan

Ever since 1988 Ive been a huge Mega Man fan. In the 8-bit Nintendo era I felt it was one of the best vid game series ever. Mega Man Anniversary Collection features parts 1-6 from the original Nintendo, MM7 from the Super Nintendo, MM8 from Playstation 1 and Sega Saturn, and 2 all new Mega Man games that were never released. Mega Man collection to beat all other Mega Man collections.

Great product. This game contains the first eight Mega Man games as ports from their respective consoles. The music is pretty much the same and the gameplay is the same, any real framelag isn't an issue either. It also features other games that aren't readily available to the market as well as remixes of other classic songs from the series as unlockables.
