it takes awhile...
to really get some of the songs on this record but after a few listens you really start to realize the image set for "memory man". Now that title alone sorta erks me because i believe it is the name of an effect pedal used on gutiars, etc.,etc...and i'm pretty sure this guy could've made something a little more "effective"??
i haven't heard much of the record prior to this one but plan on it...
i hope for the sake of aqualung they really knuckle down on the next record and turn out some songs that really define them as a group and not just skimming the top of being a great musician. the potential is stewing in them and just needs to be flushed out...maybe a great producer like nigel godrich would dig deep into their talent and pull out the diamond?? but i understand he's probably pretty expensive...so much for tour support....
over all...it's a very enjoyable listen and is worth picking up.Read full review...

Excellent album, very talented band
The vocals, music everything i love, I especially loved the song Pressure Suit which is why i bought it. It's a great album, one of the best i have heard in a long time.
