Love the creative spirit that shines in this production

Watched Merlin through from season 1 - 5 some years ago, and watched it through again recently and decided I should buy the DVDs for my streaming-challenged friend who is a fan of the Arthurian tales. Great character portrayals if a bit untraditional. Superb talent and acting, and excellent production. Château de Pierrefonds as Camelot is such a treat. The equestrian components, costumes, armor, battles, landscape scenes-- all fabulous. Any nit-picking isn't worth mention, as far as I am concerned. Worth the time and money you invest!

If you're into this series, you'll be happy to know that Morgana doesn't strike the poses she did in previous seasons. A lot of the "legend" is fleshed out in this 4th Season. As usual, there's a number of interesting new characters, including Nathaniel Parker as Lord Agravaine (better known for playing Detective Inspector Lynley in the BBC series The Inspector Lynley Mysteries).
