Perfect Music For The Holiday

I heard this at a friends home last year and I knew I had to get this cd. Mariah Carey's voice is second to none in the pop field and the tunes are classic and well produced.
I particularly loved O Holy Night. Her voice carries this tune from the depths to heights with her amazing vocal range.
These songs brought back fond memories of childhood Christmas moments I thought forgotten along with some updated and new songs that make this a classic that anyone can enjoy whether you are 7 or 70.Read full review...

This Christmas Album done in the true spirit of Xmas!!

This is one of my favorite Christmas Albums. Not just because Ms. Carey has a beautiful voice and has a wide vocal range. But the songs are song in a way that sounds like she is enjoying every minute of the recording session. It puts you back in a place where you may have been in a group singing Christmas Carols, because the songs not only represent beautiful, spiritual music but they evoke that feeling of joy you get when you participate in the singing yourself. Once Upon A Time...

There was a time when Mariah was known for her powerhouse ballads and cheery vocals, as opposed to her Diva attitude and media coverage. This album represents her peak as an artist, as it gives you the ability to really enjoy her joyful tunes and high notes, remembering her the way she used to be. A very nice Holiday CD. I play this CD every year and have had it since the year it first came out. My 1st one broke (play it too much), so I had to buy another one, because I really missed this CD. my daughter rebought this for me and made me cry... when she was young her and i danced to this in front of big french doors where we discovered on lookers saw us and also started dancing... great memories keep on coming.,, great music!!!
