Installing 64 bit Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate on Parallels 13, onto early 2011 MacBook Pro 13 inch running 10.12.6 macOS Sierra

This DVD-ROM media of Windows 7 Ultimate was easy to install as a virtual machine on my copy of Parallels 13 on my early 2011 13 inch MacBook Pro running 10.12.6 macOS Sierra (High Sierra is not recommended *yet* for installing Parallels 13).

Completely genuine brand new copy.

Both 32 & 64 bit discs were included.

Disc installed Windows much faster than USB media of the same software would have installed. Something like 30 minutes! Really quick for a brand new install (I had no copy of Windows installed previous to this).

Do keep in mind that my Mac has a disc drive, and all modern Retina MacBook Pros (and newer) do *not* have onboard disc drives. If you want to install this onto a newer Mac as mentioned, you would need a SuperDrive USB disc drive (or other compatible USB disc drive) to install said media.

I'm going to access Windows Update on Ultimate to download and install Service Pack 1 update (a lot of software requires Service Pack 1 to be installed). I confidently expect update to go swimmingly.

I will include this disclaimer: be careful about buying cheap copies of Windows 7 Ultimate at prices that seem too good to be true. Remember that this software used to cost well above $200. This software is valuable even if you only think about how few of these brand new completely genuine copies are likely available on the market (we are almost in 2018 now). Windows 7 was good.

I have used W7U for over 4 years with no issues, one night my computer updated to W10P. I thought I'll check it out no big I can always return to W7P. My mistake, rolled it back to W7P started having issues, so I started looking into reinstalling W7P. No disk, no product key sticker or other information. So I bought from this company, the product was put on a clean system. I started having issues immediately, I was able to get 1 up date from MS it was Windows Update Agent 7.6.7600.320

Theres more to a book than just its cover

It performs to your adjustments, Its easy to install but activation is a defanet problem if you don't know, Its taken me some reading time & book searching to set up the operating system the way I wanted it to be but well worth it when 8.0, 8.1, 10.0 is hard for me to get used to besides the privacy issues can be resolved in this version its a good product would love to purchase more of these but on a fixed income its as I can afford & thats ok for I don't owe nobody nothingRead full review...

I finally installed the software today. I received a copy of Windows 7 as well as a CD called Ms Dart Boot CD containing some great software utilities including a very good disk wiper I used to completely wipe the harddrive for a very clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate. The MsDart CD also has a number of useful utilities for other uses on my computer.

Windows 7 Ultimate OS

I prefer Windows 7 instead of Windows 10, which I removed from my computer. With Windows 10, never have privacy if you do not check, always, some features to be turned off. Nothing new in Widows 10, besides pictures, advertisements..., the owner of the computer is not the owner of the computer, is not in charge of his own computer.
