I’m not sure if I would buy one at the 150 price point, but after going through 4 regular Xbox one wireless controllers with some sort of creep issue I needed to try something new. Exactly what you'd expect
I couldn't get it to sync to the xbox at first because the faceplate had the sync button jammed and I could tell it wasn't on all the way. However once I fixed that it works perfectly! Great controller...if it works
These controllers are notorious for failing. The thumb sticks have major drifting issues. I had mine 1 day before sending it back. Though it felt great in the hand...probably the best of any controller that I've tried...the use of cheap parts in some areas clearly demonstrates that Microsoft cares nothing about providing a great product but choose to charge for one anyway.Read full review...

Elite 1 not so much.
The Elite 1 controller is an awesome concept. However, It has several issues, the trigger stops that limit the trigger movement make your fingers sore due to their location under the controller body. It also has low grade components that fail often and without a lot of use. The internal electronic components are either low grade or poor quality. The analog sticks fail quickly just as an example. Just a lot of issues for something so expensive,
Both the Elite 1 and 2 suffer from lack of quality either by design or purposely aren't meant to last just adding more trash to the landfills. Very few parts for repair can be found, schematics are not provided from the manufacture. This causes MORE trash in the long run which harms the environment. Parts and schematics and service manuals should be provided!
This all being said, the Concept of the controller is awesome, it has a nice feel in your hands, and has a fast response time if you are lucky enough to get one that actually lasts more than a couple of months. had they built it to be repairable and made to last for many hours of game play the expense might be explained as it is, they simply aren't worth the prices. The feel is very nice but over all I recommend investing in a controller that is by far cheaper in costs. Read full review...

Grips are very bad, do not buy!
When I purchased the controller there was no mention in the item description that there were problems with the grip. So imagine my surprise at spending $150 on a controller, that’s not even worth half, and getting the item with the very same issues as my current one. I was absolutely willing to spend more because it is my boyfriend preferred controller and of course it’s not made anymore.
