It's fanless (silent), has 24 gigabit Ethernet ports, two SFP+ (10 gig) ports, and is priced right. It has a web interface and some basic "smart" capabilities. I definitely recommend it.

This was a great addition to my enterprise home lab ;). I may get another one. I needed this to provide some 1Gb ports to my 10Gb network. I'm getting nice speeds all around. SwitchOS is perfect for this device, as its not powerful enough for much more than switching. Also plays nice with my Ubiquity gear. My Unify controller actually works much better after adding this switch, so it's nice to know Mikrotik is friendly with all our existing gear.
