M18 Fuel 7 1/4” Circular Saw

This saw is another great addition to my arsenal of Milwaukee M18 tools. This saw is very powerful and convenient to use. I’m a homeowner / hobbyist so won’t be making a living with it but when it comes time to cut lumber it has replaced my trusty Porter Cable. I love using my Milwaukee M18 tools. So much more convenient than stringing power cords or messing around with 2-cycle gas, pulling a rope and the like. Just grab the tool and batteries and go to work. Good cordless saw.

I only used this saw for 7 or 8 cuts, but it shows to have plenty of power using the 5 ah battery. I'm sure the performance would be much enhanced using the recommended 12 ah, but for light jobs the 5 ah worked for me. I like the soft start and smooth running motor, it seems like there is very little vibration. The saw appears to be well made and angle adjustments as well as depth of cut are easily made. Weight of the saw is OK compared to corded saws, but if a 12 ah battery is used I think it would be a little heavy, although the balance would probably be okay. The electronic brake stops the blade quickly when the switch is released. A safety above the switch must be activated before the saw will operate.
From what I observed, this saw is a good value, has plenty of power, is built well and has good features including a good warranty.Read full review

Lots of power, great price

The milwaukee 2732-20 is a great battery powered saw. I've ripped plywood, cut 2x4s and performed basic carpentry work with it and am really impressed. I have a dewalt (not sure of model) and it does not come close to this saw.
