Another great product from Milwaukee
I own many M12 and M18 products and was still surprised at the performance of this tool. The only downside I can see is the size vs an air operated unit. Even that had to be pointed out to me because it has not been a problem for me as of yet. Being the age, I am and using air tools most of my life I always expect a battery tool to disappoint me like in the 90s. But Milwaukee products always perform perfectly. Except of course for the 49-24-0146 M12 LED flashlight. All thou it did succeed in taking me back to my childhood and the 2C cell metal and red plastic BS flashlight that put out a dull yellow light that only really worked for looking at porn magazines under the bed covers. But that light is just one tiny blemish on a tool line that always delivers and never once left me feeling less than satisfied with the performance.Read full review...

Tool works. It's a Milwaukee. It's NOT ***NEW***
The tool is sort of fine. The Description says *NEW* which I expected as new. However, the box had been opened, the unit was wrapped in a torn bag. Upon investigating the unit, cosmetic damage was found on the battery end, like someone had attempted to pry a battery out of it. Knowing how Milwaukee packs their boxes, the paperwork (manual and sales material) was scrunched up in the box, like the tool was forced back into the box. And, the unit only came with one wrench. It is missing the 1/2" wrench. Kinda need that to change the dies out. Someone also penciled "12V" inside the battery slot - which tells me this must have been a display unit (If you know your tools, you shouldn't have to pencil in "12V"). Rather disappointed with the handling of the unit as it said it was *NEW*.
The tool itself seems works fine. It is a Milwaukee. But, what happened to it from it's description leaves me to wonder.Read full review...

Plenty of controllable power.
I used it today for grinding 1/2-5/8 inch thick fiberglass with a 5/8 carbide burr bit and it worked better than anticipated!! Don’t think I need the air compressor much anymore!! Great die grinder!! 2 thumbs up! Read full review...

Does what I need
Got this with a 3” wire wheel to clean off rusty wheel hubs and brakes. I just keep it on the 1 setting at less than half throttle. Battery lasts multiple vehicles. Another guy has the right angle and his main complaint is the battery doesn’t last, not my experience with this one though. Read full review...

I have the cut off wheel attached, and ready to use. Good tool added to my M12 series. I will put it to good use for sure.

Should have bought the bigger one
Works well a bit late on power should have bought the bigger one
Great for limited working spaces
No hoses to drag around, much quieter than pneumatics, it was perfect when I had to make some cuts beneath my vehicle and place the die grinder at such an angle a hose would just be in the way.
easy to use
Die grinder performed flawlessly and was easier to manipulate than the air die grinder it replaced.
