Pleasant surprise
I've been using this every day for 6 months now. I'm a pickup framer, so the gun is getting some heavy duty use. I believe the only issue I've run across with this nailer is one particular brand of 8d nails wont fit 2 racks in. The gun stops shooting when it gets to the last 4 nails. It prevents dry shooting and just takes a little getting used to. Only that one brand barely doesn't fit 2 racks when those 4 nails are left and only the one brand and only with 8d nails. Now that is out of the way, this nailer is lighter than the Hitatchi and $100 cheaper. It shoots as fast as you can go. Shear nailing, roof nailing, PSL's, I even nail hardware with it. Milwaukee made a killer nailgun. I've had no functionality issues at all. The swivel hook is nice to hang the gun in all kinds of situations. I've dropped it off my ladder on the concrete, picked it up and went right back to work. So, lighter, cheaper, durable and fast. When I finally destroy this gun, I'll be buying another just like it. I dont see any reason to spend more on the Hitatchi, especially after the name change. I've been hearing bad things about MetaboRead full review...
